Candle Care + Safety Tips

-
Trim the wick on your new candle to ensure the flame stays lit. 1/8"-3/16" is a great length for your wick.

-
The first light on your candle can require holding your flame to the wick for several seconds to initiate a strong flame.

-
Keep your candle burning until the wax melts evenly to the edges of the glass, around 1-2 hours. Doing this will help you get the most out of your candle!

-
Wooden wicks require attention between usage. Before lighting your wick, gently break off ash or burnt wood (usually a small amount) and then light per usual.

-
If your wax melt pool does not reach the edge of the glass after an hour, you can blow it out and try to remove any excess ash/burnt wood to promote a bigger flame. Give your candle some time to work its magic!

-
Avoid lighting your candle if exposed to cold temperatures; this causes uneven melting and could leave the wax stuck to the glass.

-
Burn your candle for a maximum of four hours. After blowing it out, please wait for your candle to cool before relighting it.

-
Always be mindful of your candles! Place them out of reach from flammable items, children, and pets.
